The 26-year-old business administration graduate from Can Tho was named Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 in May last year and recently joined the 70th Miss Universe competition in Israel where she placed in the Top 16.
"I’m so proud to wear Miss Supranational Vietnam 2022 sash on my shoulder. Thank you for all your love and support," she shared on her official social media account.
The Can Tho City native stands at a height of 1.73 metres tall and measures 90-60-95. She is widely viewed as an outstanding face who regularly participates in various charitable campaigns throughout the country.
Some of her activities include health care for people HIV/AIDS sufferers, support for LGBTQ+ rights, along with offering assistance to poor children attending school.
Duyen’s predecessor, Ngoc Chau, clinched a Top 10 finish in the grand finale of Miss Supranational 2019 and won Miss Supranational Asia title.
The Miss Supranational pageant has been held annually in Poland since 2009. In the last version of the event, Chanique Rabe was crowned Miss Supranational 2021, marking a historic win as she became the first winner of the beauty pageant from Namibia.
