Korea introduces artworks of four Vietnamese artists

PSNews - The exhibition displays about 30 metal, ceramic, lacquer oil and acrylic artworks, reflecting the authors’ multi-dimensional and colorful views and individual experiences in life. 

The exhibition "That's the way life is" will take place at the Korean Culture Center  from December 26 to January 6 of 2018 to introduce artworks of four Vietnamese artists Trinh Tuan, Nguyen Ngoc Quan, Vu Huu Nhung and Le Anh Vu.

“That’s the way life is” also the last event in the chain of nearly 60 cultural exchanges such as art performances, food festival and film week across Vietnam hosted by the Korean Embassy in Vietnam and the Korean Culture Center with the aim of strengthening the relationship between the two peoples, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Korea.

The exhibition displays about 30 metal, ceramic, lacquer oil and acrylic artworks, reflecting the authors’ multi-dimensional and colorful views and individual experiences in life.

Trinh Tuan is one of the most famous painters in Vietnam. Many of his paintings have been collected and displayed abroad, including Korea. He uses traditional paint and techniques to create his works.

Vu Huu Nhung is an heir of the Phu Lang pottery partisans. However, he has elevated this traditional art with modern and innovative decoration.

Nguyen Ngoc Quan is a painter who specializes in watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings.

Le Anh Vu is a sculptor with many pottery, iron, stone, wood and aluminum artworks, showing the fine traditional art features inherited from his family’s generations in Bat Trang pottery village.
