Ministry of Public Security holds “New Year Concert 2023” celebrating Spring and the Party

The Ministry of Public Security held a spring concert program "New year concert 2023", on the evening of January 29, 2023, at the Hanoi Opera House.

Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security General To Lam  attended and presented flowers to the participating artists.

The Spring Concert "New year concert 2023" was one of the key and meaningful activities of the People's Public Security Forces to celebrate the 93rd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd). 1930 – 3/2/2023) and the 2023 Lunar New Year, as well as to encourage all public security officers and soldiers to successfully complete their assigned tasks.

The program was performed by the People's Public Security Music and Dance Theater in collaboration with the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra.

The program consisted of 2 main parts. Part 1 included world famous musical works such as Voices of Spring by J.Strauss; The Four Seasons – Spring by A.Vivaldi; In a Persian Market by A.W. Ketelbey; Blue Tango by L. Anderson; Spring Festival Overture by Ly Hoan Chi; Tritsch-Tratsch Polka by J. Strauss; Thunder and Lightning by J.Strauss; Radetzky March, Op.228 by J.Strauss; "Celebration" Grand March by Ikuma Dan.

Part 2 contained a number of famous Vietnamese songs arranged for the orchestra: "The Party has brought about Spring" composed by Pham Tuyen; adapted by Cao Dinh Thang; “First Spring” composed by Van Cao, adapted by Cao Dinh Thang, “Little Spring” with music by Tran Hoan, poetry by Thanh Hai, adapted by Cao Dinh Thang; "Hanoi people" composed by Nguyen Dinh Thi, adapted by Tran Manh Hung.

It can be said that the Spring Concert "New Year Concert 2023" was a special cultural gift for all public security officers, soldiers and their families, as well as the people nationwide.
