"Nha Trang - Color of the Sea" exhibition to introduce hundreds of valuable documents

PSNews - "Nha Trang - Color of the Sea" exhibition will be held on June 14-18 in the south-central province of Khanh Hoa, introducing photos and documents on Vietnam’s sea and island cultural and tourism heritages. 

The event will be organised by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts, the departments of culture, sports and tourism of Khanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Phu Yen, Dak Lak, Ho Chi Minh City, Kien Giang, Ca Mau and folk art troupe from the Culture Centre for the Vietnam Elderly.

The exhibition will feature two main parts including over 200 photos, artifacts and maps featuring Vietnam’s Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos, Nguyen dynasty’s royal documents on Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos and many literature works, press and music pieces on the beauty of Vietnamese seas and islands. 

It will also introduce the potential of sea and island tourism, contributing to the affirmation of the nation’s sea and island sovereignty. Additionally, local specialties of participating areas and seafood will be sold and music performances staged on this occasion.

Earlier, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association has just issued a guide book themed Nha Trang – Colour of the sea in celebration of Visit Vietnam Year 2019 and Sea Festival 2019. 

The guide book has two volumes, one in Vietnamese and the other is in English. The guide book includes 100 pages, size 20.5x15cm, presenting famous destinations in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa according to topics of hotels, entertainment, destinations, food and drink, shopping, etc. 

In the first publish, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association printed 7,500 copies for the Vietnamese version and 2,500 copies for the English version. All will be given free at public places, restaurants and hotels in Khanh Hoa Province.
