Northwestern food served during culture festival in Sapa

Cultural activities and hundreds of traditional dishes of local ethnic minorites are available at the Northwestern Food and Culture Festival is taking place from July 22 to August 12 at the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist site in Sapa.
From July 22 to August 12, Northwestern Cultural Space and Culinary Festival is being organized by Sunworld Fansipan Legend in Sapa, Lao Cai Province with vibrant festival atmosphere. The event draws the attendance of thousands of visitors, according to Vietnamtourism.gov.vn.

After enjoying the specialties, visitors can join the Northwestern cultural space with sap dances, traditional folk games, shows of making banh chung (square glutinous rice cake), banh day (round glutinous rice cake). In particular, on Saturday and Sunday, visitors can witness a traditional wedding of the Dao ethnic people.
