Opening of the Vietnam-Korea Exhibition Center Office

On August 2, 2025, during his official visit and working trip to the Republic of Korea (RoK)  President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien held a working session with the Vietnam-Korea Business & Investment Association (VKBIA). The working delegation attended the inauguration ceremony of the Vietnam-Korea Exhibition Center Office and visited the Vietnam-Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space Corner.

The ceremony took place solemnly with the participation of the high-level delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, witnessed by representatives of local government authorities of the host country, leadership representatives from the Korea Foundation, and several businesspeople, experts, and members of the Vietnam-Korea community.

Speaking at the program, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien acknowledged and highly appreciated the practical contributions of VKBIA, particularly in promoting investment, economic-trade cooperation, science-technology, education-training, cultural exchange, local cooperation, as well as supporting the Vietnamese community in South Korea to integrate and develop sustainably. 

The association has consistently organized meaningful activities and programs directed toward the homeland, such as joining the country in combating the COVID-19 pandemic and economic recovery, supporting compatriots in localities affected by Typhoon Yagi or during natural disasters and floods, and many activities directed toward the nation's seas and islands... These activities have made extremely important and meaningful contributions to the great national unity.

President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien emphasized VKBIA's role as an effective bridge between overseas Vietnamese and the homeland, while affirming that the Vietnam Fatherland Front will continue to accompany and support community organizations in leveraging their strengths, unity, and sustainable development.

At the ceremony, the working delegation performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Vietnam-Korea Exhibition Center Office and toured the Vietnam-Ho Chi Minh cultural exhibition space, which introduces images, documents, publications about Vietnamese history and culture, as well as characteristic products from various regions.

Notably, on the occasion of the 6th anniversary, the VKBIA collective and personally the VKBIA Chairman - Dr. Tran Hai Linh were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee for outstanding contributions in connecting, promoting investment, supporting the Vietnamese community in South Korea, and spreading the image and position of Vietnam - the Vietnamese people on the international stage. This event marks an important milestone, affirming VKBIA's comprehensive, proactive, and creative integration orientation in the new period.
