MPS leader congratulates press agencies on revolutionary press day

Under the authority of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), Lieutenant General To An Xo, Chief of the MPS Office on June 17 led a delegation of MPS to visit various news agencies on the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS leadership, Lieutenant General To An Xo extended the best regards to all leaders and staff of the Communist Review, Voice of Vietnam, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, People’s Army Newspaper and National Defense Television, and hoped that they would successfully fulfil their tasks entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.

He also extended his thanks to the press agencies for their news coverage on the People’s Public Security Forces’ task performances and social activities, particularly the forces’ efforts to ensure national security and public order as well as to build up the People’s Security Forces in the new context.

The MPS Office Chief also hoped that the press agencies would support the Public Security Forces to successfully accomplish the duties assigned by the Party, State and people.

Leaders of the press agencies thanked the MPS leadership for its thoughtfulness of the press and media, and vowed to effectively reflect task performances of the Public Security Forces in the time to come.
