Seven Vietnamese tertiary education institutions meet int'l accreditation standards

PSNews - Recently, the Quality Management Departent of the Ministry of Education and Training announced that, seven Vietnamese tertiary education institutions meet international accreditation standards.

According to the announcement, there are 185 Vietnamese tertiary education institutions and colleges reached the national accreditation standards in the first cycle and other 14 universities met the same standards in the second cycle.

In particular, out of the aforementioned institutions, there are seven tertiary education institutions met international accreditation standards including: Bach Khoa University - Ho Chi Minh City of Technology; University of Danang - University of Science and Technology; Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Hanoi University of Civil Engineering; Hanoi University of Sciences, Vietnam National University in Hanoi; Ton Duc Thang University; International University - Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City

Earlier, the Vietnam National University-Hanoi and the Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City were named among the top 1,000 universities worldwide on the QS World University Rankings 2022 while Ton Duc Thang University was ranked in the top 1001-1200 and Hanoi University of Science and Technology was named in the 1201 group.

Four Vietnamese universities entered the Impact Rankings 2021 by Times Higher Education (THE), including Vietnam National University-Hanoi, which is ranked at number 401-600, Ton Duc Thang University (401-600), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (601-800), and Phenikaa University (801-1,000).
