13th Public Security Non-professional Art Festival – Region III successfully closes in Hue

The 13th Public Security Non-professional Art Festival of Region III concluded in a warm, solemn and emotional atmosphere at the Song Huong Theater in Hue city, on the evening of April 13, 2025.

After four days of the exciting contest, 24 art troupes with over 1,000 public security officers and enlistees, as non-professional artists, performed 127 artistic acts in various genres, including singing, dancing, instrumental music and short plays. Of them, 67 were composed by the non-professional artists.

At this year’s festival, there were not only traditional songs and music in praise of the Party, the country, the people and the People’s Public Security Forces, but also artistic pieces, in which young officers folk music of localities with contemporary music, producing more stage effects and adapting to the youth’s taste.

Several traditional songs of the Public Security Forces were also remixed, rearranged and matched with various artistic genres, regional styles and pieces of art in praise of the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland and the people.

The performances at the festival vividly portrayed the image of the public security officer,  who is always, in wartime and peacetime, loyal to the Party, the nation and the people, and ready to sacrifice himself for peace, national security and the happiness of the people.

Each edition of the festival is a vivid demonstration of the unity, creativity and strong will of the Public Security Forces.

According to the organizers, the participating delegation from five public security units and agencies were awarded the title of “Excellent Art Program” while25 acts received the A Prize.

20 outstanding performers were also presented with certificates of merit by the Organizing Committee.
