The People’s Police University (PPU) has coordinated with relevant units to hold 6 blood donation drives over the past 2 years, with the participation of 1,643 donors and more than 1,900 blood units collected.
The university also founded a “live blood donation bank” in the 2021-2022 school year by calling on officers, lecturers and students of the PPU to be ready to donate their blood on request. The live blood donation bank stores the data on the blood groups and types of the potential donors.
This is part of the university’s support for its students, officers and lecturers as well as other police officers and soldiers in need of blood for medical treatment.
