18 teams compete in Volleyball Championship of Fire Fighting Police

PSNews-On June 6, the Hanoi Municipal Fire Police organized the opening ceremony of the 2017 Volleyball Championship for the Hanoi Fire Police Force.

The activity is of great practical meaning as it is held on the occasion of the first-year implementing the Politburo's Directive No. 05 on “Enhancing the movement “Learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morals and lifestyle”; the campaign of “Public Security Forces strictly observe the regulations and build up the cultural style for people to serve” and the campaign “Building on the police’s manners of bravery, humanity, devotedness to the people” as well as patriotic emulation movements within the force.

It also aims to echo the movement to build cultural and civilized lifestyles in the public security units, and to promote exchange and learning among units within the fire prevention and fighting force.

The Hanoi Fire Fighting Police Volleyball Championship in 2017 is the annual event and this year’s has seen the participation of more than 200 athletes of 18 fire police teams in Hanoi.

After the tournament, the Hanoi Fire Police force will select outstanding athletes to form a team of the city’s Fire Police to prepare for the upcoming Volleyball Tournaments organized by the city and ministry of Public Security.
