35 typical organizations and individuals of the General Department of Police praised

PSNews - The Youth Union Executive Committee of the General Department of Police held a ceremony on November 28th to celebrate the 35th Traditional Day and received a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister. 

The ceremony saw the participation of Lieutenant General Phan Van Vinh, Director of the General Department of Police; Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Over the past 35 years of development, young officers, soldiers and members of the Youth Union at the General Department of Police have promoted its vanguard role, braved any difficulties, and always been ready and active in struggling for peace and happiness of people.

At the ceremony, under the authorization of the Prime Minister, Lieutenant General Phan Van Vinh handed over a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister to the Youth Union chapter of the General Department of Police. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Phan Van Vinh acknowledged and praised the outcomes and developments of the Youth Union chapter’s members of all generations, contributing to the success of the General Department.  

He instructed all youth organizations of the General Department of Police to pay due attention to and well implement political and ideological education; and actively renew information and education methods in accordance to the situation of each unit.

The youth organizations should continue promoting their vanguard role in fulfilling their units’ political assignments; expand charitable activities; and join hands with communities in supporting needy people across the country.

At the ceremony, Lieutenant General presented certificates of merit to 35 organizations and individuals for their large contributions to the General Department of Police.
