A TV program named “For national security” was first broadcast on August 10, 1972, which has become the traditional day of Public Security Television (ANTV).
The meeting was chaired by Senior Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh, Deputy Director of the DIC.
Delegates, who were leaders and former leaders and generations of officers, soldiers and workers of the television sector of the Public Security Forces, gathered at the meeting and recalled developments of Public Security Television in the last 50 years.
Over the past 50 years, with the leadership and direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Central Information and Education Commission, the Ministry of Information and Communications and the former General Department of Politics under the Ministry of Public Security as well as the effective support of the Vietnam Television and the Public Security Forces nationwide, the Public Security Television has made great strides in all aspects.
The achievements of the Public Security Television over the past 50 years have been recognized and appreciated by the Party, State and Public Security sector, demonstrated by various noble awards and titles.
Senior Colonel Nguyen Thuy Quynh noted that in the time to come, leaders, officers, reporters, editors and workers of Public Security Television will make efforts to innovate, improve the quality, and make Public Security Television grow stronger and stronger.
She also hoped that the channel will serve as a bridge connecting the Public Security Forces with the people.
