The information was revealed by Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Rajesh Uike during a press conference on June 17.

According to Mr. Rajesh Uike, this year program, the 5th edition of its kind, will be held by the Indian Embassy in collaboration with the Vietnam – India Friendship Association and Bao Viet Life Insurance.

This year’s International Yoga Day with the theme of “Yoga for a green life” will be held in 9 localities of Vietnam, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Tien Giang, Soc Trang and Ba Ria Vung Tau on June 22.

During the program, the organizers will encourage participants to bring their own water bottles in an effort to minimize the impact of plastic waste on the environment and respond to the meaningful "green life" spirit of this year's International Yoga Day.

The organizers want to spread the message: small actions can make great changes, and a beautiful soul should go along with beautiful actions, said Mr. Rajesh Uike at the press conference.

With the goal of protecting Vietnamese families, we are trying to build a solid foundation for life, help Vietnamese families have more awareness of physical training, skills, and support all to live healthy, peaceful, and prosperous lives without health risks. ”
