The 7th sports exchange between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore took place on the afternoon of October 8th, in Hanoi.

The 7th sports exchange between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore took place on the afternoon of October 8th, in Hanoi. Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore Aubeck Kam attended the event to encourage the athletes.

The event was not only a sports exchange but also an evident demonstration of the solidarity, effective cooperation and thriving relations between the two countries in general and between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore in particular.

Over the past time, the two sides have regularly exchanged information regarding security situations in the region and the world, shared hands-on experience and supported each other in building capacity of law enforcement officers in charge of transnational crime, non-traditional security threats, contributing to ensuring security and order in each country and for regional and global peace and prosperity.

The sports exchange also helped promote the sports and physical training movement among officers of the two ministries, strengthen the friendship between Vietnamese and Singaporean officers.

Via such an exchange, the Singaporean friends can have an insight into the country and people of Vietnam as well as the country’s socio-economic development achievements over the past time.

At the exchange, athletes from the two ministries competed in table tennis and badminton, and all the games took place in an exciting and friendly atmosphere.
