Appointment of new director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police announced

PSNews–The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the Provincial Police of Nam Dinh organized a ceremony on March 27 to announce the appointment of new director of the Nam Dinh Provincial Police Department.

The event saw the presence of Mr. Doan Hong Phong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and various leaders of Nam Dinh Province; Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Doan Duy Khuong, Director of the Hanoi Municipal Police and leaders of units under the MPS. 

Under the decision of the MPS, Senior Colonel Pham Van Long, 53, who had previously served as Acting Director of the Nam Dinh Provincial Police Department, has been promoted to the post of Director of the provincial police.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son handed the decision signed by the Minister of Public Security on the appointment to the new Director of the Nam Dinh Provincial Police Department, Senior Colonel Pham Van Long.

Deputy Minister Son and Mr. Doan Hong Phong congratulated Senior Colonel Long on his new promotion, and asked him to heighten his sense of responsibility, cement the internal unity, and strive to build a clean and strong local police force. The new leader was also required to coordinate closely with other agencies and forces of the MPS and the province to ensure political security and social order and safety, facilitating socio-economic development of the province.
