Bac Giang police asked to enhance Party building and force building

The Provincial Police Department of Bac Giang on January 3 organized a conference to review its task performance in 2019 and roll out its new working plans for 2020.

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a remark at the event.

Reports at the event showed that the provincial police forces of Bac Giang investigated over 530 criminal cases and arrested 750 suspects in 2019. Particularly, 94.7% of serious cases were successfully handled.

The Provincial Police Department also effectively launched various campaigns to ensure security and order while the number of traffic accidents and the number of traffic casualties were curbed.

For their achievements, 240 units and some 600 individuals under the Bac Giang Provincial Police Department were honored by authorities at all levels in 2019.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam applauded the efforts and achievements gained by the provincial police forces and urged them to effectively implement the resolutions adopted by the Central Party Committee of Public Security, ensure security and order for the upcoming Lunar New Year as well as safety for Party congresses at all levels.

He also asked the Provincial Police Department to continue deploying professional police officers to communal police posts. The local police should also focus on Party building and force building as well as enhance the efficiency of State management over public order and security affairs and, management over entry and exit of Vietnamese citizens and foreigners.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam presented the “National Security Protection” Emulation Flags to various units and individuals under the Bac Giang Provincial Police Department.
