Bac Giang provincial police receive Labor Order

Under the authority of the State President, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, handed the third-class Labor Order to the Provincial Police Department of Bac Giang, on July 26.

During the 4th wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in Bac Giang, the provincial police seriously and effectively implemented the directions by the Government, the Ministry of Public Security and the provincial Party Committee and authority, and attained great achievements in pandemic prevention and combat.

The provincial police coordinated closely with 600 officers and soldiers from the Mobile Police Command and public security doctors to quickly identify and trace more than 5,700 infected cases, and tens of thousands of people related with COVID patients.

The provincial police deployed nearly 2,500 officers and soldiers to guard more than 1,300 checkpoints, 276 concentrated isolation facilities and 20 treatment centers for COVID-19 patients in the province.

They also improved the public awareness of COVID-19 prevention via increased information dissemination about the pandemic.

The provincial police also handled 5,700 violations of pandemic prevention regulations.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son applauded the efforts and achievements of the provincial police in prevention and combat of the pandemic.

Under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son handed the third-class Labor Order to the Provincial Police Department of Bac Giang.

At the ceremony, 6 subunits and 5 officers of the provincial police were also honored with the certificates of merit by the Government.
