Bac Ninh succeeds in putting people’s health records on VneID platform

PSNews - Recently, the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee organized a meeting to review the integration of electronic health records and criminal record certificates in the VneID app in Bac Ninh.

Deputy Minister of Public Security and Permanent Deputy Head of the Government’s Steering Committee for Project 06 Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.

According to reports at the meeting, Bac Ninh has been the first locality in the country issuing electronic criminal record certificates to citizens on the VNeID app in line with the procedure stipulated in Circular 06/2024/TT-BTP of the Ministry of Justice.

As of December 15th, the province has received nearly 1,100 applications for criminal record certificates on the VNeID app. Bac Ninh civil servants are actively guiding citizens to submit applications for their criminal record certificates on this digital platform.

Meanwhile, by December 15th, 147,400 electronic health records of Bac Ninh citizens had been integrated into the VNeID app.

At the conference, delegates from the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Health, and involved departments, branches, and sectors of Bac Ninh province discussed approaches to remove the remaining obstacles to the work of integrating data on local people’s health insurance and electronic health records in the VNeID app.

The delegates also discussed approaches to expand the list of banks allowing people to pay the fee online for the issuance of their criminal record certificates on the VNeID app, as well as sought to upgrade the software running the system of issuing criminal record certificates.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long recognized the achievements of Bac Ninh province in implementing Project 06, saying that many of the province’s models had brought good values and convenience to local citizens and businesses, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long underlined that the province’s model of connecting people’s electronic health data and electronic medical records with the Bac Ninh General Hospital and the Bach Mai Hospital is expected by the Party and State leaders to be replicated nationwide, and the database will be shared among hospitals in the future.

The Deputy Minister stressed that the entire political system in Bac Ninh as well as all citizens and businesses, should continuously renovate their mindsets, raise their consciousness and heighten their sense of responsibility for digital transformation so as to effectively perform the task in the province.
