Can Tho police to implement big agenda during Youth Month

PSNews – The Youth Union Chapter of Can Tho city on February 26 held a ceremony to launch the Youth Month 2018, which runs from February 26 to March 31.

The youth organizations of Can Tho city and the Municipal Police have coordinated in various youth campaigns with practical meaning, including the program “Joining hands to build new-style rural areas”.

After the launching ceremony, the Municipal Police of Can Tho broke the ground and announced the funding for the construction of 2 houses of comradeship (worth VND 35 million each), a meaningful gift to Lieutenant Tran Hoang Thanh (police officer of Cai Rang district) and family of Nguyen Minh Hieu (resident of Tan Phu ward, Cai Rang district).

The Youth Month was launched with the aim to enhance the sense of responsibility of young people and stimulate their potential and innovation in local socio-economic development as well as their voluntary spirit for community’s interest.

During the Youth Month in Can Tho, youths of the Can Tho police force will promote various voluntary activities, including maintaining “green-clean-nice” streets; restoring urban order, and traffic safety and order; helping ill-behaved young people reintegrate in the society; and promoting dissemination against drugs harms and drug-related crimes, with the aim of ensuring security and order in the city.
