CAND Newspaper bring Tet gifts to Van Ho

PSNews – The Public Security (CAND) Newspaper and Agribank have planned to present gifts worth VND 50 million to poor people in Son La. The activity is part of the 2018 Program “Tet (lunar New Year festival) for the poor,” with VND 400 million funded by Agribank, for the poor nationwide.

A charity mission of the CAND Newspaper and Agribank on January 16 visited and presented gifts to residents of Long Luong and Van Ho communes (Van Ho district, Son La), continuing a series of activities of the 2018 Program “Tet for the poor,” launched by CAND Newspaper with supports from various donors. 

With the support from the Son La Provincial Police, the charity mission held a gift-presentation ceremony to hand over gifts to the poor locals on January 16.

50 gifts (worth VND 500,000 each) were offered to poor residents of Long Luong commune and other 50 similar gifts to poor residents of Van Ho commune.

On this occasion, a delegation of the Son La Provincial Police led by Colonel Le Huy Thang also presented gifts to local residents of Van Ho district.
