Capital Mobile Police Regiment honors outstanding officers and soldiers in the five-year emulation movement

The Capital Mobile Police Regiment held a meeting on May 20 to review the national security movement in the 2015-2020 period, honor officers and soldiers with outstanding achievements in the movement, and launch new emulation movement for the 2020-2025 period.

As one of the key units under the High Command of Mobile Police in charge of protecting political security and social order and safety in the Red River Delta provinces, including Hanoi, over the past years, the Capital Mobile Police Regiment has launched many effective emulation movements, contributing to motivating its officers and soldiers to fulfil their tasks. During their movements, they attained a number of outstanding achievements, recognized by the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, the High Command of Mobile Police and the people.

From 2015 to the first quarter of 2020, the Regiment joined dozens of operations with the participation nearly 7,000 officers and soldiers in support of local police units and specialized agencies under the Ministry of Public Security.

Particularly, the Regiment successfully protected the IPU-132, the APEC Summit, the 2nd US-DPRK Summit in Hanoi, as well as coordinated with the Provincial Police Department of Ha Nam to ensure safety for the 2019 UN Day of Vesak.

The Regiment was presented with the title of “Determined to Win” Unit and Emulation Flags by the MPS and the High Command, and a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister.

At the event on May 20, three teams and 21 individuals were honored by the Regiment for their outstanding achievements in the past 5 years.
