Central Steering Committee on Anti-corruption works with Dak Lak Province

General To Lam, Politburo Member, Minister of Public Security and Vice Chairman of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption, on September 24 led a delegation to work with the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee on the province’s anti-corruption work in 2018 and the first 6 months of 2019.

At the meeting, Mr. Bui Van Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee briefed the working delegation on the achievements of the province in the fight against corruption, the detection and handling of corruption and economic cases as well as the recovery of lost assets in these cases in Dak Lak.

The working delegation was also briefed on the province’s implementation of conclusions and recommendations made by the previous inspection, supervision and audit delegations of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption, and its observance of the regulations of the Party and State on appointment and re-appointment of officials and leaders.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam stated the inspection aimed at carefully and deeply evaluating outcomes, limitations, difficulties and problems of the province in the fight against corruption, so as to draw lessons and work out solutions to improve the work in the province.

On behalf of the working delegation, Minister To Lam recognized and agreed on the report from the Standing Board of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee and promised to pass the province’s proposals to the Politburo and the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption for consideration.

After the meeting, the working delegation worked with the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee on the organization of local agencies in charge of anti-corruption work and listened to their difficulties and challenges, and recommendations.

On the same day, Minister To Lam and the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security also visited and congratulated officers and soldiers of the Dak Lak Police Department on their outstanding achievements in the 5th Public Security Forces’ Regulations, Shooting and Martial Arts Competition in the Southern region held in Dak Lak province last August.
