Cipher Department goes over task performance in H1

The Cipher Department under the Ministry of Public Security held a meeting on July 20 to review its task performance in the first 6 months (H1) of 2017 and roll out plans for the second half (H2), under the chair of Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

In H1, the Cipher Department well implemented its assignments, assisting leaders in protecting secrets, and ensuring security for command operations, contributing to protecting national security, social order and safety.

The Cipher Department also promptly upgraded information technology systems for police units, meeting requirements of special tasks in the current context.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh recognized and praised all achievements of the Cipher Department in the first 6 months of 2017.

Regarding its missions in H2, he instructed the cipher force to appropriately assign on-duty teams to work round the clock as planned, as well as to heighten the State management of cipher work and keep all confidential information absolutely secret. The department should also focus on inspection activities and improve sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers.

In addition, the department should complete its organizational structure. All leaders and officers of the sector should be exemplary and well implement the task of protecting internal security.
