Corrections sector receives First-class Fatherland Protection Order

The Police Department of Management of Prison, Compulsory Re-education Center and Reformatory held an event to mark its 70th founding anniversary (November 7, 1950 – 2020) and receive the First-class Order of Fatherland Protection on November 5th.
Under the authority of the State President, Minister To Lam attaches insignia of the First-class “Fatherland Protection” Order to the traditional flag of the Department.

General To Lam, Minister of Public Security (MPS) attended and gave a keynote speech at the event. The event also saw the presence of the MPS’ leaders, representatives of ministries and central branches.

Over the past 70 years of its development, generations of wardens, security guards and workers at the C10 have successfully fulfilled their tasks assigned by the Party, State, and people. By their kindness, altruism and patient education, they have converted thousands of inmates into good citizens after serving their sentences.

On behalf of the MPS, Minister To Lam congratulated the staff of the C10 on their outstanding achievements over the past 70 years.
