By the afternoon of January 11, the country has injected more than 162.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, of which the coverage of first dose reached 100% while 92.6% of the population aged 18 years and older have been fully vaccinated.
36 among the 63 provinces and cities have vaccinated 90% of their eligible citizens. Only 5 provinces failed to have fully vaccinated 80% of their population. These include Hung Yen, Nghe An, Ha Giang, Cao Bang and Son La.
By now, all localities have administered 13,930,813 doses of vaccines to children aged 12-17, including 7,953,138 used as first doses and 5,977,675 as second doses.
To date, 32 provinces and cities have basically injected first shots to children.
