Criminal Investigation Agency’s Office reviews task performance

The Office of Police Investigation Agency, under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), held a conference on December 21 to review its task performance in 2020 and roll out new plans for 2021.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Chief of the Criminal Investigation Agency attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event. The conference was chaired by Major General Do Van Hoanh, Chief of the Office of the Criminal Investigation Agency.

In 2020, 4 units under the Criminal Investigation Agency were honored with Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister, while a number of other units and officers were praised by leaders at various levels for their outstanding achievements in the “National Security Protection” emulation movement.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong appreciated the achievements gained by the Office of Criminal Investigation Agency in 2020.

Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong also asked the Office to actively grasp the situation of crimes so as to advise the Public Security Central Party Committee, the leadership of the MPS to issue policies and measures to raise the efficiency of crime prevention and combat.

The Office should advise the leadership to build legal documents related to investigation and handling of crimes, and promote the coordination between the MPS, the Criminal Investigation Agency and the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Supreme People's Court and other relevant agencies.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong presented the Excellent Emulation Flag awarded by the Minister of Public Security to units under the Office with outstanding achievements.
