Dak Lak and Dak Nong Provincial Police start to suppress crimes during Tet

The Provincial Police Departments of Dak Lak and Dak Nong on December 15 launched a campaign to suppress crimes and ensure security and order before, during and after the 2020 Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

At the launching ceremony, leaders of the two Provincial Police Departments gave instructions to local police units on the implementation of the campaign.

During the campaign, which stated on December 15, 2019, and lasts until February 14, 2020, all local police units are asked to deploy all forces and means to suppress crimes and ensure security and order.

All police units were asked to promptly defect and neutralize all conspiracies and activities of terrorists and hostile forces, ensure safety for important targets and construction projects as well as diplomatic, cultural and entertainment activities. Police units were also requested to promote patrols in important areas, enhance state management over public security and order,ensure traffic order and safety and enhance fire prevention and fighting.

The communal-level police should promote their role in dealing with security and order situations at the grassroots level.
