Decisions on high positions at Tra Vinh Provincial Police announced

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended a meeting on February 1 hosted by the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department and announced the Minister’s decisions on personnel.

Under the authority of the Public Security Minister, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang announced and handed the Retirement Decision to Senior Colonel Le Van Viet, Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department, from February 1, and the decision to assign Senior Colonel Huynh Van Thinh, Vice Director, to serve as the Acting Director until a decision on the position of the director of the provincial police is issued.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang appreciated the contributions of Senior Colonel Le Van Viet to the growth of the Tra Vinh provincial police force, which were recognized by the Party, State and people.

He also asked Acting Director Huynh Van Thinh to raise his sense of responsibility and join efforts of the provincial police to successfully complete all given tasks.
