Department of Organization and Personnel rolls out working plan in 2020

The Department of Organization and Personnel under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on December 27 held a conference to review its task performance in 2019 and roll out the working program for 2020. According to the general report from the department, over the past year, the organization and personnel sector of the People's Public Security Forces (PPSF) has been basically completed its mission with positive results, contributing to streamlining the apparatus of the Ministry of Public Security towards effectiveness and efficiency, and meeting the task requirements of the PPSF in the new situation.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS, Minister To Lam praised the Department of Organization and Personnel for its efforts in overcoming difficulties to obtain many achievements in 2019.

Under the authority of the State President, Minister To Lam hands the Second-class Labor Orders to Major General Dinh Huy Hieu, former Director of Department of Organization and Personnel and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Mai Lam, Deputy Head of Division 2 as well as the Third-class Labor Order to Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Nam, former Deputy Director General in charge of the General Department of Public Security Politics.
Under the authority of the State President, Minister To Lam hands the Second-class Labor Orders to Major General Dinh Huy Hieu, former Director of Department of Organization and Personnel and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Mai Lam, Deputy Head of Division 2 as well as the Third-class Labor Order to Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Nam, former Deputy Director General in charge of the General Department of Public Security Politics.

Minister To Lam suggested the department to perfect the system of legal documents related to the organization and staff of the PPSF in order to successfully implement the 2018 Law on People's Public Security Forces and the Government's Decree No. 01. 

It should also review and post public security officers reasonably in line with the regulations on posting cadres at four levels, while ensuring a good ratio of the staff of units at the local level and at the ministerial-level.

Minister To Lam also urged the department to strengthen internal political protection, tighten discipline, and fully implement policies for officers and soldiers while attaching importance to the fight against corruption and wrongdoings in the forces.
