Department of Planning and Finance rolls out new plans

The Department of Planning and Finance under the Ministry of Public Security organized a conference on December 12 to review their task performance in 2020 and roll out new plans for 2021.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended the event, which was chaired by Lieutenant General Trinh Ngoc Bao Duy, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son applauded the efforts and achievements of the department over the past time.

He also asked the department to seriously and effectively implement the resolutions of the Public Security Central Party Committee, directions of the Minister of Public Security on major tasks and the Minister’s Conclusion at the 76th National Public Security Congress.

They should ensure finance for all public security agencies and units to perform their regular and unexpected tasks, while maintaining reserves and implementing budget management and allocation, deploying medium-term public investment plans for the period of 2021-2025, with priority of investment given to projects in key areas with complicated security and order situations, as well as to combat forces, grassroots-level police force and health sector.

The Department of Planning and Finance was rewarded with the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Ministry of Public Security for their outstanding achievements in 2020. A number of officers and subunits under the department were honored by leaders of various levels.
