Department of Security Industry rolls out working plans

PSNews – The Department of Security Industry under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a conference on January 16 to announce its new working plans for 2019 and decisions of the MPS on the establishment of Party and mass organizations within the department.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Duy Toan, Director of the Security Industry Department, chaired the event.

In 2018, adhering to the Resolution of the Public Security Central Party Committee and directives of the MPS, the department leadership and its subordinate units actively built up working programs and effectively implemented various them, made important contributions to ensuring logistic and technical supports for all operations of the Public Security Forces.

In spite of a number of difficulties , the department well performed its assigned tasks. Particularly, it participated actively in building legal documents; creating a legal framework for the development of the security industry in the future.

Participants in the conference discussed both achievements and shortcomings in the past time and proposed various solutions to better accomplish the working plans.

Regarding the working plans for 2019, Senior Colonel Nguyen Duy Toan highlighted that the department would continue to promote Party and force building, improve the quality of training for officers, especially young officers, focus on personnel work so as to bring into full play the ability of each officer.

Additionally, the department would enhance the efficiency of its business and management, and improve the quality of its products, to better serve not only the Public Security Forces but also other markets.
