Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam congratulates CAND Newspaper on 74th anniversary of its first issue

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, visited and worked with the Public Security Newspaper (PSNews) on the74th anniversary of its first issue (November 1, 1946 - 2020).

Senior Colonel Pham Khai, Editor-in-Chief of the PSNews, expressed his delight at the visit by the Deputy Minister and briefed him on major activities and achievements of the Newspaper in 2020.

Along with its information service, the newspaper mobilized individuals, businesses and organizations to donate over 4 billion VND in support of people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and those working on the frontline of the fight against the pandemic.

The PSNews also raised more than 3 billion VND for flood victims in Central provinces.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam appreciated the efforts of the PSNews in disseminating the guidelines of the Party, State, policies of the Government while fully covering the Public Security Forces’ political task performances, contributing to raising the position of the forces.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam extended best wishes to the Editorial Board and all officers, soldiers and workers at the newspaper.
