Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam makes a working trip to Hau Giang Provincial Police

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, led a delegation to work with the Provincial Police Department of Hau Giang on June 9.

According to Colonel Huynh Viet Hoa, Director of the Provincial Police Department, the local police forces have promoted political and ideological education, focusing on highlighting the significance and outcomes of the Party congresses at all local levels, in preparation for the 13th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam appreciated the good achievements gained by the Provincial Police Department in ensuring political security and social order, saying that the stable local security situation contributed positively to local socio-economic development in the past time.

Deputy Minister Nam also asked the Party organizations and leadership of the local police units to ensure internal and cultural security, ideology,  protect state secrets, successfully prevent and fight against crimes, and safeguard the Party congresses at all local levels and the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.

He asked the leadership of the Provincial Police Department to direct all local police units to actively grasp, evaluate and make predictions of the situations that can affect public security and order in the province, and advise the local Party committees and authorities on policies and solutions to the issues.

The Provincial Police Department should promote the Movement “ For National Security”, enhance the efficiency of settlement of crime reports while honoring outstanding examples on time, and promoting the role of police officers at the grassroots level.
