Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam visits PSNews on the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, on June 19 paid a visit to the Public Security Newspaper (PSNews) on the occasion of the 95th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

Senior Colonel Pham Khai, Editor-in-Chief of the PSNews, briefed Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam on the development of the newspaper as well as the achievements attained by the PSNews in the past time.

Over the past year, the PSNews has actively and effectively popularized the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, activities and directions of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), and task performances of public security agencies and units across the country. The PSNews has also paid due attention to struggling against reactionary views and strategy of “peaceful evolution” by hostile forces while promoting victories and achievements and good examples of the Public Security Forces in the fight against crime and maintenance of social order and safety.

Senior Colonel Pham Khai noted that the PSNews was honored to receive two national press awards this year in addition to many other press awards from the Central level agencies, ministries and Hanoi municipal authorities.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam extended regards to all leaders, reporters and workers at the newspaper on the occasion of the 95th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

He also recognized and appreciated the efforts made by the PSNews in the past time in reflecting the contributions of the Public Security Forces to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic

To celebrate the 75th Traditional Day of the Public Security Force, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam asked that the PSNews should focus on writing more articles about the glorious tradition of the forces, the great contribution of former leaders and veteran officers of the Public Security Forces as well as about sacrifices of public security officers and soldiers in the fight against crime.
