Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam works with Thua Thien – Hue Provincial Police

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on June 20 leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), worked with the Thua Thien – Hue Provincial Police on their task performance in the first half of 2019.

The event also saw the presence of Mr. Le Truong Luu, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council of Thua Thien – Hue and representatives of relevant units under the MPS.

At the meeting, Senior Colonel Nguyen Quoc Doan, Director of the Provincial Police Department, briefed delegates on the provincial police’s outcomes of ensuring security and order in the province in the past 6 months.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam thanked leaders of Thua Thien – Hue and other local organizations and agencies and people for their supports for the provincial police in particular and the Public Security Forces in general to fulfill their tasks of ensuring national security and public order and security. He also applauded the achievements gained by the provincial police in all working areas, particularly in Party and force building.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam considered that the world, the region and Vietnam would see complex situational developments in the remaining months of 2019, so he urged the provincial police to thoroughly grasp the situation and promote the movement “All people protecting national security,” promptly and effectively prevent and fight all types of crime.

He also stressed the need to enhance traffic order and safety, urban order while staying ready for rescue missions and prevention of natural disasters.

Deputy Minister Nam also asked the provincial police to pay more attention to Party and force building, and successfully complete the project on deployment of professional police officers to communal posts.
