Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc visits Nho Quan Wounded and Sick War Veterans Nursing Center

 On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025), a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Nho Quan Wounded and Sick War Veterans Nursing Center, on the afternoon of July 18, 2025.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025), a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Nho Quan Wounded and Sick War Veterans Nursing Center, on the afternoon of July 18, 2025.

Reporting to the Deputy Minister and delegates, a leader of the center released that it is currently taking care for 60 individuals, including wounded, sick soldiers and persons with meritorious services to the revolutionary cause, among which three are wounded public security officers.

Speaking at the program, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc expressed his best regards to the patients receiving treatment at the center.

He emphasized that the Party, the State and the people always remember and deeply value their significant contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification.

He added that the Public Security Forces, in close coordination with authorities at various levels and sectors, actively carry out meaningful activities for those who have made contributions to and shed their blood for the cause of protecting the Fatherland.

He said that, although the war has ended, wounded and sick soldiers continue to bear physical pain and struggle with their illnesses every day. The Deputy Minister expressed his hope that they would remain resilient and optimistic, serving as inspirational role models for future generations.

He also called upon the staff of the nursing center to uphold their sense of responsibility and continue to wholeheartedly care for the patients at the center, in line with the nation’s time-honored tradition of returning gratitude to those who rendered great service to the country.
