Over the past years, the People’s Police Academy has developed in both scale and quality of its education and training, contributing effectively to developing high-quality human resources for the People’s Public Security Forces, the People’s Army and the police forces of Laos and Cambodia.

The academy has created its position and prestige in the national education system and received high recognition from the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).

In terms of investment, finance and logistics, the People’s Police Academy has focused on developing synchronized and modern infrastructure, ensuring adequate material and technical conditions for teaching and learning.

Dormitories, classrooms, offices and training facilities have been newly built, renovated and upgraded, contributing to the realization of the goal of building the PPA as one of the leading educational institutions of the Public Security Forces.

During the meeting, representatives of the academy’s functional units pointed out several difficulties in investment, finance and logistics, stressing that the academy is lacking infrastructure, technical equipment, training materials and teaching aids.

They also proposed practical investment plans for the 2025–2030 period, with a strategic vision toward 2045, aiming to further improve the quality and effectiveness of its education and training, contributing to achieving the goal of building regular, elite and modern Public Security Force in the new situation.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc affirmed that the People’s Police Academy is one of the leading educational institutions of the Public Security Forces.

Sharing the difficulties and challenges faced by the academy, he requested the PPA to continue strengthening its logistical and technical capacity, focusing on modernizing its infrastructure and renew its investment policy with priority given to key projects, avoiding investing various projects at the same time.

He emphasized that investment should be aligned with the strategic goals and priorities of each development phase to meet the increasing demands for education and training in the current context.
