Thai Binh commune in Yen Son district met the enhanced criteria for new-styled rural areas in 2020 and was selected to be a model of new-styled rural communes in 2021.

Since the movement “All people protect national security” was launched in the commune one year ago, the local security and social order have been maintained while the political system has been strongly consolidated. The local government invested more in infrastructure, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development and making local people’s lives more better.

The Ministry of Public Security's Department for Development of National Security Protection Movement recognized Thai Binh commune as the model "Three positive points in terms of security and order" and a typical example in the movement “All people protect national security” in Tuyen Quang province and the country.
