Regarding the local police’s tasks in the coming time, Deputy Minister Hung asked the provincial police force to take measures to effectively prevent and fight crimes, curb criminal activities in hotspots of social evils, strongly attack criminal gangs, usury or “black credit”.

They should detect and prevent all activities by hostile forces, ensure ethnic, religious and rural security.

The provincial police should boost law dissemination, struggle against distorted and hostile views, pay more attention to non-traditional security issues and stamp out criminal activities.

The provincial police should mobilize local people to participate in ensuring security and order.
