At the session, PSA Director Lieutenant General Trinh Ngoc Quyen reported to the Deputy Minister on the academy’s work results over the past period.

Accordingly, since the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year, the academy has fulfilled its enrolment program in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.

During the academic year, the academy trained about a dozen of thousands of students, including 142 senior officials, high-ranking officers and cadets from the Lao Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia under international cooperation programs.

The Director noted that the academy has transitioned from a traditional training model to a learner-centered approach. Meanwhile, its teaching staff proactively developed electronic lesson plans, digitized teaching and learning materials, and applied software and modern teaching tools to their teaching.

In terms of international cooperation, the academy maintained effective cooperation with partners 25 higher education institutions and international organizations from 17 countries and territories.

Concluding the session, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung acknowledged and applauded the academy’s achievements in recent times.

Regarding the academy’s key tasks in the time ahead, the Deputy Minister emphasized that the academy should continue to strongly innovate contents of its training program, programs, methodologies and a modern digital smart school management model, striving to complete the development of an “e-Academy” and a “Smart People’s Security Academy” by 2030.

He also stressed the need to develop a standardized contingent of lecturers and education managers with excellent moral qualities, professional expertise, legal knowledge, foreign language proficiency and the ability to apply science and technology to teaching and learning.

At the same time, the academy was requested to train its students to meet the criteria for the public security officer being “most loyal, most disciplined and closest to the people.”
