Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong meets voters in Tien Lu, Hung Yen

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Member of Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security and member of the National Assembly (NA) delegation of Hung Yen, met with voters in Tien Lu District, Hung Yen on June 19 on results of the 14th National Assembly’s 7th session.

It was also a chance for local voters to voice issues to the to-be 9th session of the 14th Hung Yen Provincial People’s Council.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial NA delegation briefed local voters on outcomes of the 14th National Assembly’s 7th session and some activities of the delegation while representatives of the Provincial People's Council of Hung Yen informed voters of the draft agenda for the 9th session of the 14th Provincial People’s Council, the socio-economic situation of the province in the first half and the province tasks in the last 6 months of 2019.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong appreciated the achievements gained by Tien Lu in particular and Hung Yen in general, especially in the building of new-style rural areas.

Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong underlined the serious situation of traffic accidents in recent times. He also pointed out 5 important factors that impact on the number of traffic accidents, namely: traffic participants’ awareness, number of vehicles, the quality of technical infrastructure, organization of the traffic and traffic legal provisions.

He also revealed that the Ministry of Public Security is proposing the Government and the National Assembly to draft a law on traffic order and safety to complete legal provisions on specific traffic violation.

Regarding voters’ question about grassroots-level personnel work, the NA delegation will submit the issue to the NA for solutions.

Additionally, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong also briefed voters on recent situations of the region and world, national economic growth target and police work, particularly prevention and fight against drug-related crime, organized crime, black credit and sexual abuse against women and children.
