Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi visits police units in Ca Mau and KienGiang

Major General Le Tan Toi, Deputy Minister of Public Security, had a working trip to Ca Mau and Kien Giang on May 18.

The Deputy Minister and his delegation visited and worked with the Police Station of Thoi Binh district and Cai Tau Prison (Ca Mau), Kenh 7 Prison and the Police Station of U Minh Thuong district (KienGiang).

Speaking at the meeting with leaders and officers of the two district Police Stations, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi hailed their efforts and achievements in the past time.

He  asked them to focus on grasping the local situations, actively advise the local Party committees and authorities to settle civil disputes, complaints and cases involving ethnic groups and religions.

The police units were asked to well organize the Party congress in the term 2020-2025; develop and implement plans to ensure security and safety for the local Party congresses at all levels in preparation for the 13th National Party Congress.

Particularly, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi demanded that the Party committees of the police units should focus on the Party building and force building, striving for a really clean and strong local police force with all police officers and soldiers dedicated to work and staying close to the people.

Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi also asked the district Police Stations to take strong measures against crimes, particularly criminal gangs, black credit and social evils.

At the working sessions with Cai Tau and Kenh 7 Prisons, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi spoke highly of their efforts in prevention and combat of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also praised the prisons for their achievements in performing their assigned tasks over the past time.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi and the delegation visited and inquired after 4 families of public security officers in a difficult state in Thoi Binh and U Minh Thuong. The delegation of the MPS also presented gifts to the Police Stations of Thoi Binh and U Minh Thuong, Cai Tau and Kenh 7 Prisons and the Management Board of the Security Zone 9 Historical Site.

Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi also visited and offered gifts to police officers at Cai Tau Prison, whose children suffer from congenital diseases.
