Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi works with Guard Police High Command

PSNews - Major General Le Tan Toi, Deputy Minister of Public Security on May 25 led a delegation to work with the High Command of Guard Police.

Lieutenant General Phan Son Ha, Commander of Guard Police High Command briefed Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi on the force’s task performance and its major objectives in 2020.

According to reports at the meeting, the High Command of Guard Police has actively drawn up and implemented working plans to ensure safety and security for important political establishments while boosting cooperation with relevant agencies to protect leaders of the Party and the State as well as international events and foreign delegations in Vietnam.

Over the past time, the High Command of Guard Police has also promoted international cooperation, scientific research, professional training and other related fields to improve professional expertise and working skills for guard police officers.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi acknowledged the achievements of the guard police force in performing its tasks assigned by the Ministry's leadership, especially in ensuring absolute safety for all of the designated establishments and events.

In the coming time, the Deputy Minister asked the High Command of Guard Police to continue implementing its 2020 working plan, focusing on protecting leaders of the Party, the State, and international delegations in Vietnam as well as ensuring safety and security for important political events and critical areas. Especially, to the force should ensure absolute safety and security for the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.
