Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen attends “All People Protecting National Security” Festival in Hanoi

PSNews - Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen, Head of the Central Steering Committee for the “All People Protecting National Security” Movement, attended the 2025 “All People Protecting National Security” Festival in Hanoi, on the morning of July 2, 2025.

According to reports by the Hanoi’s Steering Committee 138, thanks to the sound leadership of the Party Committee, the People’s Council and the People’s Committee of Hanoi as well as the active participation of local agencies, sectors and people, the “All People Protecting National Security” movement has been implemented with diverse content and flexible forms tailored to each residential area or organization, contributing to strengthening the people’s security posture and enhancing Hanoi’s image as a safe, friendly city—a symbol of peace and development.

Currently, 175 models and model groups of the movement are being deployed in 8,818 locations across the city.

13 models has officially been recognized by the Ministry of Public Security while 23 others have been adopted by the city authority as exemplars with effective and innovative approaches, worth being learnt and duplicated.

Addressing the event, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen hailed the outstanding achievements of Hanoi in building the movement over the past time.

To further promote the movement in the coming period, the Deputy Minister proposed that local authorities, agencies and forces, especially the Hanoi City Police Department, earnestly and effectively implement the guidelines of the Party and the State, as well as the directions of the Ministry of Public Security on ensuring security and order and building the “All People Protecting National Security” movement.

The Deputy Minister suggested restlessly renovating communication methods, and heighten the sense of responsibility of Party organizations, authorities, officials and citizens for the building of the movement.

In addition, he emphasized the importance of applying information technology and promoting digital transformation to enhance the effectiveness of the movement in the current digital era.

At the festival, Hanoi’s Steering Committee 138 honored 39 exemplary collectives and individuals in the 2025 “All People Protecting National Security” movement and presented gifts to 22 disadvantaged policy beneficiary families.
