Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen attends "All People Protecting National Security" Festival in Ho Chi Minh City

PSNews - Dong An High Technology College solemnly held the 2025 "All People Protecting National Security" Festival on the morning of July 25 in Dong Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Head of the Central Steering Committee for the "All People Protecting National Security" movement, attended the event.

Addressing the festival, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen acknowledged and commended the Party organization, government, Steering Committee and people of Ho Chi Minh City in general and Dong An High Technology College in particular for their achievements in promoting the “All People Protecting National Security” movement and successfully organizing this year’s festival.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that in recent years, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and authorities have attached great importance to fostering the movement, leading to many positive developments and drawing the participation of a large number of people from all walks of life.

He noted that the movement has been effectively integrated with other mass campaigns, such as the promotion of cultural lifestyles, patriotic emulation and poverty reduction, and helped found numerous effective grassroots models of self-protection, self-management and self-defense.

Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen also applauded the college’s initiative on the establishment of the “Safe and Secure School” model, which was recognized by the Ministry of Public Security as a role model in 2024.

He affirmed that the festival clearly demonstrated the good attention and strong commitment of the local Party committees and authorities to the national security protection movement, making important contributions to maintaining political stability and social order in the locality.

To further advance the “All People Protecting National Security” movement in the time ahead, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen called on all Party committees, authorities at all levels and the people of Ho Chi Minh City to enhance their awareness of the movement’s importance and regard it as a pivotal responsibility of the entire political system and every citizen.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the need to continue innovating the content, methods and communication strategies for political and ideological education for officials, Party members, students and the mass, in order to foster patriotism, national pride, respect for the rule of law and a strong sense of civic responsibility.

He also urged the people to remain vigilant against legal violations and to actively support the movement through voluntary participation in efforts to safeguard national security and maintain social order.
