PSNews - Recently, Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen hosted a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Vietnam Korhan Kemik and a delegation of Turkish security technology enterprises, in Hanoi.

Welcoming the Ambassador and the delegation of leading Turkish enterprises in security, defense industry and digital transformation, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen emphasized that the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Türkiye have continued to flourish across various fields, including politics, diplomacy, economy, trade, culture and people-to-people exchanges.

He also highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of the Turkish Embassy to promoting bilateral cooperation and strengthening connections between agencies, organizations and business communities of the two countries.

Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen stressed that, in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam is implementing a number of key programs aimed at building a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces.

He affirmed that the application of science and technology, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technological achievements serves as a key factor in enhancing the effectiveness of safeguarding national security and maintaining social order and safety in the current context.

Speaking highly of the capabilities and experience of Turkish enterprises in security technologies, cybersecurity, surveillance systems, command-and-control platforms and law enforcement solutions, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen expressed his belief that the meeting would provide an opportunity for both sides to exchange information and explore areas of cooperation that align with their respective strengths and needs.

To further deepen bilateral cooperation, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen expressed his hope that the Turkish Embassy would continue to serve as a bridge connecting Turkish agencies and enterprises with units under the Ministry of Public Security in accordance with the needs and strengths of each side.

He also encouraged Turkish enterprises to maintain exchanges and provide information on specific technologies and solutions for the Ministry’s specialized agencies to study and apply them to their real work.

For his part, Ambassador Korhan Kemik highly appreciated the positive development of the traditional friendship between the two countries, while affirming that Türkiye attaches great importance to promoting substantive cooperation with Vietnam, particularly in the fields of security and high technology.

The Turkish side expressed their readiness and willingness to share experience, transfer technology and support the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam to modernize the Public Security Forces.

They also committed to continuing close coordination with the Ministry’s relevant units to turn cooperation initiatives into concrete outcomes in the coming period.
