A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Major General, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen, worked with leaders of the Provincial Police Department of Ha Giang on July 4.

The working session also saw the presence of Mr. Thao Hong Song, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Mr. Hoang Gia Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and representatives from relevant units and agencies.

Senior Colonel Phan Huy Ngoc, Director of the Provincial Police Department, briefed the delegates on outstanding activities and outcomes of the provincial police in the first half of 2022.

Mr. Thao Hong Son spoke highly of the provincial police department’s efforts in Party and force building, crime prevention and combat.

He also noted that the Provincial Party Committee and the MPS would create favorable conditions for the provincial police to fulfil their given tasks, provide financial support to accelerate construction of working offices for communal police units and other projects managed by the provincial police.

Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen also recognized the achievements of the provincial police in ensuring political stability and maintaining public order and safety in the past time. He asked the police force of Ha Giang to advise the Provincial Party and People’s Committee to give further directions on ensuring security and order, especially in ethnic and religious communities.

The provincial police should continue to prevent and fight crimes as well as speed up the implementation of Project 06 on enhancing application of population, e-identification and e-authentication data in national digital transformation while maintaining traffic order and safety and fire prevention.

They were also requested to pay attention to the building of the communal police force.

At the event, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen presented various medical and environmental protection equipment and medications to the Ha Giang Provincial Police Department.

After the meeting, he and other delegates visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Ha Giang and planted trees of commemoration at the police headquarters.
