Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha's Executive Council, and members of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha's Executive Council received Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang and the delegation.

On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang wished all Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers peace and happiness on their Vu Lan Festival. He also underlined the significant contributions of Vietnamese Buddhism to national defense and development throughout history.

Speaking at the meeting, Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Public Security Forces, affirming that the Sanga will continue directing monks, nuns and Buddhists to accompany with the public security forces in ensuring security and social order for the peaceful and happy life of the people.
