Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc attends Party Congress of Tien Giang police

The Party organization of the Tien Giang provincial police held its 13th Party Congress on August 11.

The event saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Tien Giang Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Le Van Huong, Vice Secretary of the the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; and Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc and the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee appreciated the efforts and achievements gained by the provincial police’s Party organization in the last term.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc asked the Party organization of the provincial police in the 2020-2025 term to further direct the provincial police to seriously implement guidelines and policies of the Party, the State and the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee on Party building and ensuring security and order.

It should coordinate with grassroots Party organizations, relevant branches and agencies and local authorities to effectively tackle all situations, ensure security at the sea, religion security, internal political and information security. It should enhance leadership over rescue, natural disaster prevention and relief. 

In the next term, the Party organization should pay attention to suppressing criminal gangs, “black credit” and usury, gambling, illegal debt collection as well as drug trafficking and eradicating security hotspots.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc also asked the Party organization of the Tien Giang police to focus on Party building, and effectively implement the “Studying and following the thoughts, moral virtues and lifestyle of President Ho Chi Minh” movement in line with the “For national security” emulation movement.
